Apple mail automatically resize images (2022)

Hi, Since a few weeks Apple Mail automatically resizes images when I add images to a new message. This is very frustrating and I have no clue how to undo this.

I have read older threads from people having the same problem. The solution should be that an option appears to choose the image size. But I don't see this option anywhere in the screen so I think this solution might not work in Apple Mail anymore (2022)?

Anyone a clue about what to do?
