How to cancel Apple Care subscription from another region

Hey guys, I need help here. Recently got my phone from Montreal. Canada and I registered for Apple care there. Now I am in Nigeria and I wanted to cancel my subscription but its not letting me. Keeps saying I can only do it in the region in which I registered. How can I go about this please? My card is linked and it will automatically renew by the end of the month.
