If you haven't already, force restart your iPad. Force restart iPad - Apple Support
If that doesn't work, I would recommend first backing up your iPad (How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support ) and then restoring the iPad to factory settings. This will wipe everything off of the ipad and install new software. Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
