Have iCloud on my iPad and Win 10 PC. All was working well until today.
Changed password for iCloud on iPad.
Win 10 PC asks me to login again.
I put in the password, it is accepted.
Two-factor authentication sends a code to my iPad, which I then enter on the PC.
PC says "an unknown error occurred".
Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, restarting, etc, no luck.
Thoughts?

If you're able to sign in on other devices with the new login, restart your computer and try the login again. If this persists, reach out to Apple Support.

Thanks, Huey. I had already restarted AND uninstalled/reinstalled iCloud app on my PC, with same result. Only variation was it took a couple of seconds longer to get the reply window describing "unknown error". I will follow advise to contact Apple Support. Thanks.
I attempted exactly the same as described above in first message about issue. Wondering if Windows 10 or iCloud updates created conflict??
