Box Sets not sorting by season

Similar to a previous question. I have purchased several box sets of series, e.g. The Office U.S., Reba, Grimm, etc. But in the Apple TV app regardless if it’s my iPhone, my tv, or laptop, it won’t separate. I checked iTunes and was able to change the information for the each season but while this works in the iTunes app on my laptop it doesn’t influence the Apple TV app. This can’t be really annoying and makes me apprehensive to purchase anymore sets like Supernatural that has 300+ episodes and would be a nightmare to sort through. Is this a design issue? My iTunes is up to date as well as my apps and iPhone is up to date with the current iOS 15 updates.
