About how much is the value for an ipad 4 from 2012 if I wanted to do a trade in?

The iPad4 is now obsolete and unsupported by Apple - and has no residual trade-in value with Apple. Apple will, however, recycle the iPad for free.
If you actually have a newer model, it may qualify for Apple’s trade-in programme.
