Is there a way to have updated software to be verified automatically after the update?

MS Office programs are frequently updated. After each update, when you start them, you waste 3-5 minutes staring at the message "Verifying MS word" or similar. Sometimes you are about to enter a meeting and cannot spare that time. Why can't the system verify the software automatically and silently after each update rather than when you restart the software?

The simple answer is, if software "automatically and silently" verified, it would interupt whatever you happened to be doing at the time, but you wouldn't know why.
