iPad app zoom problem

Following up on this topic: iPad screen zoom problem - Apple Community

I'm having this same issue. The iPad app usually loads fine - but while using it, usually soon after loading it, the app will zoom - like this OP says - such that about 3/4" of the screen is now beyond the edges of the screen on all sides. OP was using an iPad Pro, I'm using an iPad Air 5th Gen with a Logitech Combo Touch iPad Air Keyboard Case. Moving the cursor to the edges with the touchpad does not move the zoomed in view of the app. So any app controls or information displayed in the parts of the app now zoomed beyond the display is now unaccessible.

Checked all accessibility settles - zoom setting is turned off and I do not see any settings that may have effects on zoom or display.

Anyone else with this problem? The Logitech app/keyboard shouldn't be able to have this effect? Could it be a hardware/firmware issue where iPad OS gets confused on screen size or resolution?

Hi dnnskng_,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities, we're glad to assist. Does this also happen when you don't have your keyboard connected to your iPad? Is this happening with specific apps?

If this is only occurring with specific apps, let's try the troubleshooting below, as these steps can resolve unexpected behavior within apps:

1.) Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

2.) Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

3.) Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

4.) Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.
