What is the '3 dots' icon in top right?
Just upgraded to Monterey from El Capitan, and now learning the new features in Photos.
I click on this circular icon and nothing happens. What is it supposed to do?

It gives the choice to switch between "Your photos only" and "Yours and shared." I'm not sure why it isn't working in your Mac but the same choice is available in the View menu so you should be able to do it from there.
