When composing a text on "TextEdit", I suddenly find (just today) that for no known reason, the 2nd line (and all that follow) are now indented!
How can I return "TextEdit" to its normal behavior?

For future consideration: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will assure a good boot into Safe Mode.
Try restarting in safe mode followed by a normal startup.
I had some difficulty in achieving "safe boot"... not sure if I ever did.
But (inexplicably) "TextEdit" now seems to be behaving!
