Your iCloud account couldn’t be removed at this time. find my Mac is still on and can't uncheck the box (Mac OS Sierra needing to upgrade but can't until iCloud user changed or iCloud system presences turned off)

I need to update Mac OS to High Sierra but cannot because iCloud system preferences is having a problem but can't switch users or shut of find my Mac on this user to shut of iCloud for this device or even sign out of iCloud at this time in order to update to high Sierra.

This Mac can’t connect to iCloud because of a problem withOpen iCloud preferences to fix this problem.

Is it your Apple ID signed in Mac system preferences or other own the account , do you know all Apple ID account credentials , if you have started erasing the iCloud account from server How to delete your Apple ID account - Apple Support

Recover the account before 30 days by revealing alfa numeric code to senior care apple advisors .

To sign out the account the correct password is required , if the account is in process of erasing the sign out button will be greyed .
