Unable to connect to the internet

My macbook won't connect to the internet. I've done all the obvious solutions, and it will connect intermittently to the wifi network, but still won't access the internet. Cable company says it's the laptop. I've tried everything I can think of. The laptop is less than a year old.

Your warranty is still in effect; take it to Apple and ask they make it right.
