Default adress bar results

Dear community,

I can't say how long it's been exactly, but it used to be that when I typed in a site or a question or anything in the address bar, the results would show up on a Duck Duck Go page. Duck Duck Go is the search engine I want to use by default, it's also my homepage. Oddly enough though, recently, when I type anything in the address bar now all results display in Google. Does anyone know how I can change this setting? I can't figure out how.
