Hi, iPad Air 1(A1475) cannot use either Apple Pencil 1st generation or 2nd generation.

Meanwhile, there's a similar pencil by the Logic company but it also requires iPadOS 12.2 and above: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/ipad-accessories/crayon-ipad-digital-pencil.914-000051.html.
