I ask Siri to send a message, she answers what would you like to say, and when I say the text she keeps saying she can’t hear me so message doesn’t get sent? Yet she hears me say send a text to such and such

Go to Settings. Tap Siri & Search. Turn off Listen for "Hey Siri" and then turn it back on. When the Set Up "Hey Siri" screen appears, tap Continue.
