I forgot my screen time passcode. I’m trying to reset my old phone so my son can use it. When I take these steps, it just adds another failed attempt. I even went through all of the steps to change my password and still… failed attempt. I’m not sure what to do from here.

If necessary, you will need to restore the device to factory settings. Do not restore from a backup made when the Screen Time code was active.
