Forwarding articles from my iPad

Until a fortnight ago I was able to forward newspaper articles, safari information from my iPad Pro. Why can’t I do this now. I just get the word LOADING and a turning wheel on the screen. I have left this for a couple of hours in my frustration but it makes no difference. Very frustrated especially as my iPhone 11 Pro Max performs this function efficiently.

Have you restarted your iPad Pro since this issue began? Per Restart your iPad - Apple Support:

How to restart an iPad without a Home button

Press and hold either volume button and the top button until the power off slider appears.
Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
To turn your device back on, press and hold the top button until you see the Apple logo.

If the issue persists, it it only sharing from Safari that is impacted or are other apps like Photos having issues sharing as well?
