Old version of Mac

The thing is, my old version on a desktop Mac keeps reseting in a cycle for hors and I couldn't get my work done. I already bought a new computer, but I still need to get information off the older one. Any solutions?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

On the old one, see f holding the T key on startup puts in into Target Disk Mode...
