migrated to new macbook air photos

I just migrated to new Macbook Air. I can display my photos on my secondary monitor as screen saver. However, when I click on the photo app - the photo images are not visible to me. I do use icloud. I'd like to be able to see my photos on my computer.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Hi

Try: Hold down the option key while starting photos. Is more than one library listed - if so, open each until you find your photos.
