Help required

I have transferred from android to IPhone S3 how do I add names of contacts to their numbers. My contacts are there but when I receive a text the name is not coming up

iPhone SE, iOS 15

Go to your contacts list and see if the names are there. If not, tap on the contact, tap edit in the top right corner to put their name with it
