Considering your 2013 iMac is 10+ years old it and is obsolete, you may want to consider buying its replacement rather than investing money into it. It is obsolete in that it cannot go beyond Catalina 10.15.X AND Apple cannot get replacement parts for it. Rather than spending anywhere from $100 to $300 on it, consider using those funds towards its replacement.
