If using Chrome, put this into your address bar: chrome://settings/content/notifications


Find the section "Allowed to send notifications". gurushied is probably listed. Remove it.


I ran Etrecheck and it showed 'Line' and 'Chrome Remote Desktop Host' were recently installed. I then found extensions for both, in my installed Chrome Extensions. I've used both of the legitimate extensions before, but, I did not only install them today. So, I chose to remove them both from my Chrome Extensions.


I also found, in my Applications folder that both 'Line' and 'Chrome Remote Desktop Uninstaller' had "Modified" dates from earlier in the day. Again, since I didn't actually do any updates to either of them today, I regard them as compromised by guroshied, so deleted both from
