Possible return product delay but hoping for a refund
There is a delay with my returned item being shipped back to Apple on time. Will Apple still give me my refund if the product arrived after the specified date?

Sorry it wasn’t a more favorable answer. Unfortunately, when opting to purchase outside of your country that’s one of the risks you face if you aren’t positive about the item fitting your needs before buying. Ultimately to ensure it arrived in time it may have been best to pay for expedited shipping costs. Not ideal but would have been best. Outside if speaking with Apple directly there’s no way for you to find out if they can/will extend your situation. If you end up stuck with it you can try selling it. You won’t likely recoup all of your money but it would be better than nothing. You could also trade it in for what you want. Again, you won’t get all that you paid for it but it is an option. Good luck! Hopefully it will arrive in time. You still have 6 days left (assuming you already shipped it…anything could happen and you may be fine).

The product itself didn’t suit my needs and I was told to return it by September 21st. However I noticed there is an extreme delay for some reason and I’m not sure that it will be returned to Apple by the specified date. I’m purchasing from outside of the US.
If that is the date that your return/exchange period closes then no, your only option would be warranty repair (if you had an actual issue versus just deciding you didn’t want it). The fact that you purchased outside of the US doesn’t matter. You can always call Apple directly to see if there are any possible options but be prepared for the answer being no.
Ok. It was an iPhone 13 mini and it was just way too small, which was my reason for returning it. There isn’t much I could do to control the shipping process and rates for overseas calls are so high in my country so I suppose I’ll prepare to lose the money.
But thank you for your help.
No
Would they allow me to exchange the product for another one?
No.

What’s wrong with it?
If it’s defective, and it’s outside of the return period. Repair or replacement would be covered by the warranty. It’s up to Apple which would be appropriate.
Thank you so much and I do understand. And yes will consider selling it or trading it in. A little bit more hassle but I suppose there is always a way. Thank you again.
