Access to files from macOS Monterey to macOS Big Sur inconsistent

I have an iMac running Big Sur 11.7 that I regularly wish to access files on from a MacBook running Monterey 12.6. Here are three folders on the Big Sur iMac that I wish to regularly access:

From the MacBook I can see all the files in Pictures and Movies, but can see no files in Documents. It shows a file count of zero. I have no idea what is wrong here. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your response. Two questions:

  1. Why can I access the Pictures and Movies folders and not the Documents folder when the three folder permissions appear to be identical?
  2. I have no idea how to add smdb to the Full Disk Access list. When I click the + sign, I cannot find a way to navigate to the /usr/sbin/ directory.
