im trying to stop text messages on my phone also going to my iPad. I have followed the steps (settings/messages/disabled text message forwarding) but they are still coming through to my iPad!! Driving me crazy.
another other ideas?

If you wish to stop receiving iMessages on your iPad, you would go to Settings > Messages > iMessage on the iPad and turn it off.

Last question - if I delete all the convos/messages on my iPad will it delete them from my iPhone? I don’t want the old ones on there

No. Each device houses the message threads separately - unless you chose to keep your messages in iCloud.
