iCloud photos

When I try to turn on my iCloud photos on my iPhone it keeps coming up with a message which is “photos synced with finder will be removed 4,425 photos will be removed” then it gives me an option to remove the photos and turn on iCloud photos or cancel and not to start iCloud photos, what shall I do and if I turn iCloud photos will all my pictures be removed?

That indicates that you have 4,425 photos on your phone that were placed onto the phone sometime in the past when you synced them to the phone from a computer (using iTunes or Finder). If you turn on iCloud Photos, those synced photos will be removed from your phone.

If you still have the computer and have not deleted those photos from the computer, they should still be there. If they are, you can upload the photos from the computer to iCloud and they will then sync with your phone.
