Hi everyone,
I'm currently using the iPhone 14 Pro Max and have noticed that when the lock screen animation loads with images that aren't from Apples default collection, it is not a smooth transition from a black screen to the lock screen. This is with always on display off.

Is anyone experiencing this issue as well or know what might be causing this?

To help troubleshoot the behavior, ensure iOS is updated to iOS 16.0.2 and test after restarting your iPhone:

Haven't found a fix to this issue. All my friends have some degree of this issue as well so it is not a defect with the phone. Sticking to the default Apple wallpapers should mask the issue.
I have the same issue. I have iPhone 14 Pro Max. A friend of mine has the same issue with his iPhone 14 Pro. When will there be a fix? The issue ruins the user experience.
