is there a adapter i can use to connect my 2015-macbook pro to a usb-c dock? I am connecting two hdmi monitors and usb keyboard and mouse to the dock. I am not concerned about power delivery

Even if possible, I doubt it will work like you expect. Get the proper device for your older laptop.
