Noise control switch AirPods Max not working

With the Noise Control button not working, start by cleaning AirPods to ensure that there isn't anything dirty causing it to stick. Cleaning can be done with a slightly damp lint-free cloth.

If the button isn't broken, but isn't responsive, make sure AirPods Max have been charged for at least 30 minutes and reset them to create a new pairing record with your device.
Press and hold the noise control button and the Digital Crown for 15 seconds, until the LED flashes amber, then white.
After you reset your AirPods Max, you can connect them to your iOS or iPadOS device, or connect them to your Mac or other device.

For any physical damage to the button, it will require service.
