Ipad2, 9th generation and Ethernet connection

Can I connect my 9th generation iPad2 with Ethernet and how?

There is no such thing as a 9th generation iPad2. It’s either a 9th gen ipad or an ipad 2, not both.


There are a number of Lightning to Ethernet adapters out there. The one’s I’ve found support iPadOS 10 through iPadOS 15. That means it should work with a 9th gen ipad, but will definitely NOT work with an iPad2.


Note that I have not tried any of these myself, but the reviews seem positive. Also note that there is no mention of compatibility with iPadOS 16, due to be released next month.
