No sorry, none of the new Mac’s including the Mac mini support using you Late 2013 iMac as a display in Target Display Mode.

If you go for a Mac mini, you will need to use an external display.

No sorry, none of the new Mac’s including the Mac mini support using you Late 2013 iMac as a display in Target Display Mode.
