Apple Maps “home” address goes to wrong address

After updating to iOS 16, Apple Maps has once again decided my home address is several miles from where it actually is. The address on my contact card is correct. I have deleted it, restarted the phone, and readded it several times. Resetting location services does not work. Long pressing on the correct location in Maps and adding it to my contact card does not work. Deleting and reinstalling Maps does not work. It would be nice if this stopped happening with every single new version of iOS but does anyone else have any ideas for what to try to fix this stupid recurring problem?

From here, we'd recommend reporting an issue in the Maps app with the steps below: If Maps isn't working on your Apple device - Apple Support

Report an issue or add a missing place in Maps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. In the Maps app, scroll down to the bottom of the screen.

2. Tap Report an Issue. From this screen, you can report a street, place, or route issue, add a place to Maps, or report an incident.

3. After you've chosen an issue, follow the onscreen instructions.

This can help with issues with seeing the wrong results in the Maps app.
