Touch ID not working after Monterey 12.6 update

I have a 2020 MacBook Air that recently finished the Monterey 12.6 update, now the Touch ID no longer works. Ive tried restarting, reseting my SMC, and de-enrolling my previous finger prints. Now when I try to re-enroll my finger prints, it immediately says that enrollment has failed. Help!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.6
