On new apple mail, i seem not to be able to apply "flags". When I click nothing changes ont he header of the incoming mail. There are those annoying blue dots saying new mail, but no colored flags appear.

What am I missing here?

I thought for a minute that Apple had cancelled "flags" altogether, but no it is still there in the top of the page.

Thank you.
