Apple standard warranty

What do I need to do when selling the phone still under apple standard warranty? Do I need to transfer the warranty or it follow the phone?

The standard warranty follows the phone. I would encourage you provide the buyer a copy of the original purchase receipt and make absolutely certain you have prepared the phone properly for a new owner, by following the directions in this link --> What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
