Adding photos to Apple wallet
It is my understanding that you cannot add an individual photo to your Apple wallet. Why not? For much of human history, people carried photos in their wallet. My iPhone currently has no way for me to quickly pull up one photo to show another person. In this age of digital business cards, it is nonsensical that I cannot add a business card in the form of a photo to my Apple wallet to quickly access from my wallet OR add a shortcut to my Control Center that pulls up one individual photo. Apple tech tells me "it's only a few steps" to pull up an individual photo. First of all, when you are out and about networking, you don't want to be fiddling around unlocking your phone, opening your Photos app and then opening an album and then choosing a photo from the album. You are taking yourself out of the human interaction to do all that. Yes, there are apps to let you add a digital business card that the app creates (boring) to your wallet. Isn't Apple supposed to be for artists? Why would I want to add a business card with just my name to my wallet when the whole point of having one of the most amazing digital screens in the history of the world is to be able to display a juicy graphic of my work as an artist to draw in potential customers and contacts? Apple is way behind the curve on this one. People are switching to digital business cards with QR codes that they want to custom design. Searching the internet, I am not alone. Many people are frustrated that Apple does not have the ability to add a custom digital business card to their wallet OR set up a Control Center shortcut that will get you to the same thing right away. Right now, I have to make my lock screen wallpaper my digital business card and keep tapping the screen until the other person gets out their phone to scan it.
