Safari Messing With My Game

I have a favorite game I play on my Mac and iPad. I can play it either in Facebook or on the games website. Since the last update to OS 12.6, Safari refuses to open the game in either place correctly. What I get either in Facebook or on the game webpage is squashed flat (see screen shot). If I want to access the game, I have to go to Chrome (which I hate). I've tried deleting the bookmarks, emptying cookies and cache, but the problem persists. I'd love to sort this out and go back to using just Safari. Any ideas?

That looks suspiciously familiar to the bug described in this Discussion: Latest Safari not showing maps properly… - Apple Community.

So far it appears to affect only the Mac Mini.

The workaround is to disable WebGL via Metal in Safari's Develop menu: Use the developer tools in the Develop menu in Safari on Mac - Apple Support. Try that.
