Unable to again set up an AOL ‘verizon’ email on my MacBookPro MAIL

Difficulty in setting up MAIL w/AOL Verizon email account. Have tried many ways and no success. Truly need someone to give me exact directions/visual. In past, went on AOL and asked for generated password for 3rd party email. That’s no longer available on AOL. Better with CHAT or TEXT due to hearing/voice problems and especially a rep who has clear English. Very difficult to understand accents. God Bless all who try to provide; however, my hearing at 85 is not perfectly tuned into all.

Additionally, my IPHONE has no problem using the AOL password for my access. Too difficult to use iPhone Mail to respond appropriately.
