i have 2006 imac. like to recycle. cant turn it on as chord gone

how do i clean the machine and recycle it?

You will need a power cord to turn it on and erase the drive.

(the NEMA 5-15P cord from another computer or a printer will work)



If you can not turn it on, disassemble it and remove the drive before recycling.



You can recycle old Mac's at Apple Stores, AASP's or your local E-Waste Recycler.
