IPhone 13 IOS 16.03 (issue may have existed before)
Unable to send voice messages. Microphone has line through when selected. I go to settings>privacy & security>microphone to enable access to microphone. The messages app is not listed there, so I can't enable it.

We understand you're not able to send audio messages in the Messages app from your iPhone. We'd be happy to help you troubleshoot this.
Troubleshoot the microphone in general using these steps:
If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working - Apple Support
"Clear the microphones
Contact Apple Support
If you still sound unclear during calls, recordings, or apps, contact Apple Support to discuss service options."
