I am unable to sync music- playlists to be specific. Accessing the music - playlists is disabled (grey). It is a 2012 Macbook Pro and the operating System is macOS Catalina, Version 10.15.7. It worked a month ago... solutions??? Thanks.

See Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support. You should find Sync options for your device in Finder. Do they not show up there?
