Numbers 12.2 for mac stopped sharing in other formats

Before the update we could send a spreadsheet in different formats (excel, PDF, Csv etc). Now we cannot choose and we can send only in numbers. Or export and save a file in other format and then send it. Why did this happen? Is there a way to share in the format we choose?

This is so frustrating. They added an extra step and made process more complicated. I hope they will fix this or at least make an option in the export dropdown to simply send it as another file formate instead of having to save it and then email it.

There is an automated solution that prompts you for the export document format, then exports it, and automatically attaches it to the outgoing email window. This is a workaround for the previous functionality in the now removed Send a Copy from the removed Share menu.

You can still File > Export To ... and choose your format. Then attach the exported file to an email, etc.

If being able to make a format choice from within Share is important to you then you might consider leaving feedback with Apple at Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback.

But at least you do have a workaround and haven't lost functionality.
