A good amount of my songs were slowly blacked out throughout October on my main playlist. When I try to play the song it says “Song not currently available in your country or region”. The songs work on my friends Spotify so was wondering what’s going on and how to fix the issue.

Media including songs are not necessarily made universally available. Artists may choose which regions or platforms to make their work accessible to. The Apple Services Marketing Tools page allows you to search for music, books, movies, TV shows and more to determine if the content in question should be available in your country.
If you find that you are not able to access content that should be available, use Apple Support to contact the teams that can investigate this further with you.
