Help! iPhone removed everywhere: iCloud and FindMy but still asks for activation lock password

Hi,

I have removed my old 13 pro max from everywhere but new user being asked for my Apple ID password to turn activation lock off.

The phone does not show in my devices.

Please help.

How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support

The new owner of iPhone can't remove activation lock , you have to remove it and then Handover iPhone to the new user .
