I want to get rid of my passcode . How?

You shouldn't have to use a passcode very often. It should only be required in these cirumstances:

• The device has just been turned on or restarted
• The device has not been unlocked for more than 48 hours
• The passcode has not been used to unlock the device in the last six days and TouchID has not unlocked the device in the last eight hours
• The device has received a remote lock command
• After five unsuccessful attempts to match a fingerprint
• When setting up or enrolling new fingers with Touch ID

Are you being required to use it at othr times?

You can remove the passcode security protection, but anyone who might pick up your phone will have instant total access to all of your personal data on the phone and be able to lock you out of your own phone.

Unless you only pick it up every nine hours, something is wrong. I'd suggest that you make arrangments to have it evaluated by Apple:

You cannot use Touch ID without a passcode set up. If you don’t want to use a passcode you cannot use Touch ID
