Can i use mac as secondary display for ipad?

While an iPad can be used with a compatible Mac to extend the Mac display to the iPad - using the Catalina/iPadOS Sidecar feature - the reverse, extending the iPad display to a Mac, is not natively supported.

Use iPad as a second display for your Mac – Apple Support


When external display support for iPadOS16 Stage Manager is released later this year, compatible models of iPad will be able to extend their own desktop to a supported computer monitor or TV.
