Logic Pro Midi Audio and Sustained Notes Randomly Cutting Out
Hi. I've been working on arranging some Christmas songs, and have recently ran into the following problem:
Sometimes when recording, and always when playing back MIDI notes, the sounds randomly pop and cut out. For example, a piano phrase is being played, and then suddenly a sustained note just cuts out. It just stops. This is really annoying. I've reduced the following problems:
-Studio Monitor Problem
-Gain Too High
-CPU or GPU overloaded
-Happening on just that one project
-Happening on just that one track
This seems to happen at the same spot every time I play it back, and sometimes in random places. I thought that I had it fixed after changing my multithreading to "Playback Tracks", because it was working for about 5 minutes, but then the problem appeared yet again. My I/O buffer size is 256 samples, and my recording delay is -256 samples. I'm using an Presonus AudioBox USB 96 audio interface, but I don't think this has ANYTHING do do with the problem, because the popping/cutting out still happens when playing through my MacBook pro's internal speakers. The popping still happens when bouncing in real time, and is even worse in offline bouncing.
