iPhone sometimes goes rogue and switches to SLOW-MO despite being set to film normally.

I NEVER select the ‘slow mo’ option when filming. Yet my iPhone sometimes spontaneously switches to it about a minute into shooting, something I only discover when reviewing footage.

I know how to adjust the clip using the sliders in EDIT, but this does not eliminate the flicker. There’s no option to set slow motion frame rate to Australia’s electricity hertz rate.

However, I prefer to not be forced to muck about adjusting rogue slow-mo footage. I’ve switched the phone off and done a reset but problem continues. This is the second time I’ve sought help to eradicate this maddening error.

Is there perhaps a screen cover on the device? Sometimes, that can cause issues. You can also try using the Camera lock feature to keep other odes from being selected when shooting:

Please have a look and let us know if this helps!

Cheers!
