Family Members with Separate Music Libraries

Hi there. I have Apple Music (Family plan). Whenever my son adds songs to his library it gets shared to mine. How do I separate the libraries ? (I know he doesn't want my music and I don't want his).

we are all using separate ID's and iCloud accounts

Then there's no way for one user's music library to show up on another users devices. If you are using separate Apple IDs then everything should be separate. The fact you are getting their music means you are not actually using separate Apple IDs.

Make sure your Son's devices are logged in to their own Apple ID for both iCloud and iTunes & App Stores in Settings->Account(top of Settings), and Settings->Account->Media & Purchases.
