With the new OS 13.0 Ventura update- the date and day of week no longer display at the top right of the screen next to the time.
In Settings>Date & Time, there isn't an option to 'always show' like there used to be. And it appears that 'day of week' isn't even an option anymore.
It's unthinkable why such a basic and necessary function would be removed.

You're on the wrong Settings.
Look in Control Center, Menu Bar only section.
The search works fairly well, though some things are still difficult to find with it.
